Judging by the photo, the steering wheel has grown a little in size, and both the diameter of the rim and the center point have become larger. Thanks to this, the steering wheel spokes have a larger area, which means it is possible to equip this element with additional buttons. It is with their help that you can work with the main assistants, as well as music. But the dashboard has hardly changed: the same tachometer and speedometer, and a modest on-board computer in the middle.

Seats and trunk

The seats have become much better. The fabric upholstery, of course, has not changed much, but the filling has become significantly softer, which makes it much more comfortable to endure a long journey. Front passengers can take advantage of options such as heated seats, plus their adjustment using electric drives. At the back, traditionally, there is a three-seater sofa, which has the same capabilities as the seats. front row, with the only difference being that there is significantly more legroom.

But in the cabin there is a real revolution! Just imagine: the steering wheel of the new Duster, borrowed from, is adjustable not only for the angle of inclination, but also for the reach - by 50 mm! The upholstery and dashboard have become noticeably more cheerful, with the multimedia system screen slightly turned towards the driver and moved upward. Seats with a new frame and denser filling will offer a 20 mm longer cushion and adjustable headrests. And the equipment of the top versions will include climate control, unprecedented for Duster, all-round cameras, keyless entry, an engine start button, adjustable lumbar support for the driver's seat and a blind spot monitoring system.

However, Dusters with “full stuffing” will certainly be noticeably more expensive than the current ones. How much? The company has not yet announced prices: sales of the second generation Dacia Duster crossovers will begin in Europe and Africa this coming winter. We will have to wait longer: the version of Renault Duster for Russia and South America will appear no earlier than 2019. External differences from the European Duster are expected to be few, but the range of engines and gearboxes will change noticeably. We should expect other improvements in terms of technology. However, the need to equip the Russian Duster with new options is long overdue.
