Three former soloists of one of the most popular female groups “VIA Gra” decided to create their own group, but without the participation of their former producer Konstantin Meladze, reports RIA VladNews with reference to Informing.
We are talking about Tatyana Kotova, Olga Romanovskaya and Santa Dimopoulos, who were members of VIA Gra in different years. And the new group will be produced by Sergey Kovalev.
Thus, Tatyana Kotova was a soloist of VIA Gra from March 2008 to April 2010. The girl joined the group after Vera Brezhneva left, and the debut video with Kotova’s participation was the video for the song “I’m not afraid.”
Santa Dimopoulos became a member of VIA Gra in December 2011 and took the place of Nadezhda Granovskaya. However, Santa did not stay in the group for even a year, as already at the beginning of October 2012 she announced her departure. The girl began to pursue her solo career.
As for Olga Romanovskaya, she also at one time took the place of Nadezhda Granovskaya, but somewhat earlier - at the beginning of 2006. Initially, Olya passed the casting, but another girl was taken in her place - Christina Kots-Gottlieb, who stayed in the group for only a couple of months. Christina did not fit into the team, so after 3 months, on April 10, 2006, Romanovskaya was taken in her place. Then Romanovskaya performed under her maiden name Koryagina. A year later, in March 2007, Romanovskaya announced her pregnancy and left the group.
It is worth noting that in lately Olga Romanovskaya was also known to everyone as the host of the popular program “Revizorro”, which airs on the Friday TV channel. Many media outlets wrote that a conflict occurred between Romanovskaya and the TV channel, as a result of which the girl left the project, and Elena Letuchaya returned to the place of the host of the scandalous show. However, the producer of 30-year-old Olga said that Romanovskaya left the project for personal reasons, which had nothing to do with differences with the management of the program.
And now it has become known that Olya Romanovskaya, together with Tatyana Kotova and Santa Dimopoulos, are returning to the stage. Ekaterina Pechkurova
Ekaterina Pechkurova is the most mysterious person of the new composition of the Queens group, but also deserves the title of Queen of Karaoke. However, the path to this title was slightly thorny and not very short.
Katya’s first appearance took place back in 2012 on the “Voice” program in Russia. Then none of the jury members turned around when the song “Love Has Come” was performed. Alexander Gradsky explained his position by saying that this composition needs to be performed more purely. The girl Tanya Kotova was born in the south of Russia in the Rostov region. She grew up in an atmosphere of love and mutual understanding. Santa Dimopoulos
The youngest ex-member of Queens is, surprisingly, the World Bodybuilding Champion. In addition, the girl has a law degree. Her modeling career did not bypass her - she took 3rd place in the finals of the Miss Universe contest in Ukraine.
In 2011, Dimopoulos became one of the members of the VIA Gra group. But a year later he decides to start a solo career and leaves the team. To date, Santa Dimopoulos has released a video for the song “When we move”, which entered the top 100 according to the Ukrainian TopHit chart in 2013.
During the period from November 2016 to April 2017. became a member of the Queens group, which she then left along with the rest of the members. The girl leads an active personal life; it is known that she has at least 3 “civil” marriages. He is raising a 9-year-old son from the popular presenter Andrei Dzhedzhul.
What girls say about their departure
So far, there are no official comments from the ex-soloists of the Queens group. But Olga Romanovskaya posted an unexpected post on Instagram on April 27. In an address to readers, she talks about liberation from the presence of two people in her life - literally: “Predators and planktons,” apparently, she means Kotova and Dimopoulos. Santa also talks about liberation on his Instagram. To escape the fuss, she left the country and went to “cleanse her mind and body in Marbella. There is a well-known clinic there that specializes in therapeutic fasting.”
Kotova did not react in any way to the posts of the other participants and even posted a new clip of Romanovskaya on her page. However, judging by the sweet correspondence of the ex-participants on the same Instagram, it is impossible to judge whether the girls probably had a fight or not.
Producers' PR stunt
Since there is no official information about replacing the current members of the group, most opinions tend to be a PR move on the part of the producers. A person from Sergei Kovalev’s close circle, who wished to remain anonymous, hinted to journalists that the replacement of participants was planned at the initial stage of the project’s development.
